Premium Ecuadorian specialty foods, direct from the source.
Single-origin, lab-tested, CFIA-compliant.
“Suyana”, is the Kichwa word for hope.
It's also who we are: a bridge between the indigenous farmers and rural growers of Ecuador and the Canadian kitchens ready for what they grow.
Every product we import is single-origin, independently lab-tested, and CFIA-compliant — traceable back to the family or cooperative that grew it
Grown and Ripened at High Altitude in the Andes Mountains
From single-origin vanilla beans cured in the Tumbaco Valley to volcanic-soil coffee, cacao with 5,000 years of history behind it, and fruit picked and freeze-dried at peak ripeness — every product here comes from a specific place and a specific grower, not a commodity supply chain.
We work directly with the rural and indigenous communities who cultivate it, so what reaches your table is what actually left their farm.

Cacao was first domesticated in present-day Ecuador over 5,000 years ago — meaning Ecuador is literally where chocolate began. Archaeological pottery dated to 3,300 BC was found in southern Ecuador containing cocoa remains.
CFIA-licensed and compliant.
Before anything leaves Ecuador, it's tested by an independent lab — not just checked by us. Every product is screened for the things that actually matter in food safety: heavy metals, mycotoxins, and anything else that shouldn't be there.
That testing happens before a shipment is cleared, not after it's already on a Canadian shelf. And once it arrives, our CFIA compliance means it's held to the same standard as anything grown here. Single-origin means we can also tell you exactly which farm or cooperative it came from — not just which country.
From Our Farms to Your Table.
Suyana means hope — and we built this business so that hope reaches a little further, from the growers in Ecuador who trusted us with their harvest to the Canadian kitchens ready for it. If you'd like to carry our products, ask about a specific harvest, or just say hello, the form below reaches us directly.
